This shop is different!
The professional knowledge is evident as is the professional treatment and the clean organized shop. Even more important to me is Trust. They showed me what was wrong and gave me honest advice on what was critical to repair, what could be put off and for how long. When the repair was completed, they showed me the old parts that were replaced which instilled confidence that they know what they are doing, they deliver good service and you can trust them. That is not typical of my experience in the automotive world. I have complete faith and trust in Reseda Automotive.

Most Honest Repair Shop in Southern Cali!
One day my car broke down, so I called AAA and they had me towed over to Reseda Automotive. They were super friendly and were very willing to help. They explained and showed me what happened to my car and even showed me the old parts. They cover their work for 24k miles or 2 years and even have a rent-a-car on site! From now on I go there for everything from smogs to AC to head gaskets? Check them out!

They fix the problem when other’s can’t
For the past 3 month my Chevy Malibu has had some major problems. The check engine light would come on and the car would run like crap! This would happen 2 to 3 times a week and then just go away. I took it to a Firestone, and they told me that the problem was my spark plugs and I needed a tune-up. They replaced the plugs, the spark plug wires and cleaned the fuel system for $385.00, even though I just had all that done at the dealership 25,000 miles ago. When I picked up the car, it ran great for a day, then the light came back on and it was running like crap again. I took it back and let it with Firestone and two days later they called and said that they could not find the problem…… A friend of mine told me to take it over to the guys at Reseda Automotive. I brought it in and they asked me a bunch of questions and told me the diagnostic charge was $110 for an hour. I was a little hesitant, but I need my car to run right for work. They shuttled me home and about one hour latter, they called and told me that the problem was a ground wire going to a fuel injector was loose, causing it to short that injector intermittently. They told me they had fixed the wiring and were in the process of washing my car, and scheduled a time for the shuttle driver to come and pick me up. When I got back to the shop, Greg explained to me that it only took his mechanic 45 mins to figure out the problem and fix it, and he would feel wrong about charging me the hour of labor. So he charged me $82.50 for the 45 mins. Honestly, that was the biggest shock in my life, an honest mechanic. 1 month later my car is still running like a champ and I owe it all to Reseda Automotive.

After seeing all the good reviews on the internet I decided to give them a try. I just needed a routine oil change, but wanted someone to do a full inspection just in case. Walking in I was shocked how clean the place was, and the owners (a husband and wife) were super friendly. They changed my oil, rotated my tires, replaced my air filter and checked my car while I waited in their comfy waiting room. They offered me a ride somewhere, but it was only going to take about an hour so I decided to sit and relax. When they were done, they talked to me about my car and told me it was in great shape and I had nothing to worry about it, however I would be due for new brake pads soon. They could have told me I needed them right then to make a few extra bucks, but they were honest and explained everything to me. They even gave me a coupon for the next time I come in. I can’t give them 5 stars yet since I haven’t done any work besides the oil change, but I’m sure once I get my brakes done in a few months I’ll have more great things to say!

What a great experience!: My great experience started when I first called, they answered politely and professionally. When I came to the shop it was very clean and organized and the staff was very friendly. Joe, the owner answered all my questions and explained what would be done to the car. The car was ready on time as promised and it was cleaned and washed! They performed a courtesy inspection and informed me on future recommendations too! I definitely recommended Reseda Automotive to my family and friends.
P.S. They are AAA approved and probably the only shop that gives 2 years warranty on their repairs!
